Evesham trio Lower Loveday release their new single ‘Chains’ today. In the bands own words the song is “about a young man reaching adulthood, and seeing that the grass isn’t as green as he had expected it might be the other side of his adolescence”.
‘Chains’ is an energy filled indie pop track in the vein of bands like The 1975. So it’s not surprising that the song sounds like a stadium anthem. It’s bouncy, exhilarating and full of vigour. It barely gives you a second to breathe. The music is tight, the production great and I can imagine this one getting lots of radio play.
